This is a final scripts. A few minor changes still might be made though.

Apple 1 - scared apple

Apple 2 - exited apple

*Intro song: Edvard Grieg - Morning*

*Starts with a establishing shot of the tree and zooms in to apple 2*  *sunrise*

*Apple 2 yawns as he wakes up and looks at calendar*

*leaves act as arms and stretch out as he wakes up*one leaf scratches his head*

*Calendar shows date (the big day)*

Apple 2: Todays the day! Todays the day! wake up wake up wake up.

*apple 2 is bouncing around with excitement*

*Camera pans to show both apples*

Apple 1: I'm already awake.

Apple 2: Too exited to sleep eh?

Apple 1: No, I-I couldn't sleep.

Apple 2: Why not?! But todays the big day brother. Aren't you exited?

Apple 1: Exited about smashing my head on the floor? I couldn't sleep because I'm so terrified.

*apple 1 turns away*

*close up of apple 1 scared with apple 2 in the background*

Apple 2: Terrified?! This is the day every apple looks forward too.

*apple 1 turns to apple 2 to reply*

Apple 1: I know but I'm s-scared of falling. We're really high up.

*shot changes to apple 1's point of view to show how high they are*

*shot changes back to view of both apples*

Apple 2: I can't wait to fall. I'm going to be in the best apple pie you can imagine, the sort of apple pie the Queen would eat.

*background fades to still shot of an apple pie (traditional drawing, very detailed), then fades to still shot of queen taking a bite of the pie (traditional drawing, very detailed). some sort of inspirational music in the background*

*music suddenly cuts and shot changes to apple 1 looking terrified *

Apple 1: I don't want to be eaten, I want to stay up here.

*apple 1 grabs onto the branch with his leaves*

*shot changes back to both apples*

Apple 2: You're going to have to fall sometime. All apples do.

*Apple 2's twig begins to snap*

Apple 2: Oh my god! It's my time. Are my teeth clean? Is my skin gleaming? Are my leaves straight? Hows my breath? It's my time to shine.

*Apple 1 keeps answering the questions but Apple 2 keeps butting in with more questions*

Apple 1: No don't leave me, I don't want to be left here alone.

Apple 2: But I have to go, see you in another life brother. WWWOOOOOOOOOOHHOOOOOO!

*Apple 2's twig snaps and he falls*

Apple 1: Noooooooo

*silent pause and then the weather gets dull and windy, it starts raining*

Apple 1: OK, don't panic. Take deep breaths. There's nothing to be scared of.

*Apple 1 takes deep breaths*

*close ups of apple ones scared facial features* 

*Lighting strikes and makes Apple 1 jump*

Apple 1: Aaaahhhhhh!

*close up of Apple 1's twig starting to snap*

*back to apple 1*

Apple 1: Oh god. I don't want to fall. I'll do anything.

*close up of the twig snapping a little more*

*back to apple 1*

Apple 1: OK, its going to be fine. Look, the grass is nice and soft. Every apple has to do this in their life. What am I so scared of?

*lightning goes off again and close up of twig snapping to its last thread*

Apple 1: Aaahh

*All sounds fade to quite and all you can hear is Apple 1's racing heart beat*

*close up of apple 1's eyes.*

*screen goes to black as the twig snaps*

*Apple 1 screams as he falls down*

*End credits with contrasting happy music, possibly with bloopers and/or "Apple 1 went of to being made into apple juice......"
